Prevention:
Often people wait until they are experiencing a major crisis to seek counseling services. It is typical for couples to experience a problem for several years before getting professional help. By that time, problems have often become entrenched.
Seeking counseling at the beginning of the problem often leads to more successful outcomes, less time in therapy, and less stress that has accumulated over time from dealing with the problem.
Other Services:
I also provide consultation to therapists and educators working with Middle Eastern families to help them provide culturally sensitive and effective services.
