Wellness Through Counseling
Positive change often begins with an open heart

Is your home filled with tension, disconnection, or silence? Or…
You’re walking on eggshells around one another.
Every conversation turns into an argument, or nothing gets said at all.
Your child or teen is struggling, and it’s affecting the whole family.
You feel unsupported or misunderstood by your partner or relatives.
Sibling rivalry is escalating and causing stress for everyone.
Big transitions like school, loss, or illness have shaken the family dynamic.
When one member of the family is hurting, the whole system feels it. Healing is possible.

What is Family Therapy?
Family therapy is a space for all members of your family, however you define it, to come together, listen, and begin moving forward with more compassion and clarity.
At Wellness Through Counseling, we support families through conflict, major transitions, grief, emotional challenges, and disconnection.
Our goal is to help your family become more emotionally connected, respectful, and resilient… not perfect, but healthier and more united.
We work with families of all structures, including families with teens (13+), adult children, caregivers, and multigenerational households.
Family Therapy with Cultural Sensitivity
We understand that family dynamics are shaped by culture, faith, and tradition, and those deeply held values deserve to be honored. Our therapists are trained to work respectfully within cultural contexts and frequently support Muslim and bicultural families who are navigating intergenerational challenges, religious expectations, and cross-cultural parenting.
Whether you're dealing with clashing parenting styles, family roles influenced by tradition, or values that feel misaligned between generations, we offer a space where everyone can be heard without judgment.
